ESRI's position as a global leader in geographic information system (GIS) software, web GIS and geodatabase management applications was the main inspiration in the design of the office.
Starting from the office's irregular layout which was derived from the map of the office's immediate vicinity, to the use of ESRI's own software and mapping products in the expression of the mapping interiors used, the office design speaks the core business of the company.
The reception area features a 3D map of the office's immediate vicinity with the office building at the center of the relief map.
Floor features at the customer experience area and boardroom opens up into a pattern inspired by topographic map while glass partitions feature road maps of ESRI's offices overseas.
